I have been using Luxtailor since the beginning of their existence. There could not be a better tailor in NYC that  handles all or their customers first class. I work in a fine luxury retail store on 5th Avenue and I always bring all my clothes to Ninel and her professional staff. There is no job too big or too small that her staff can’t handle. I am never disappointed when I pickup my alterations. Just recently I had Luxtailor restore a very old coat of mine and it was restored to look like I just bought it, along with several things that needed to be repaired: lining, cuffs, collars, buttonholes and pockets. I was first introduced to Lux Tailor by a favorite shop of mine on Madison Avenue who recommend them for all their tailoring.  The staff was so lovely and accommodating that I thought I would throw an idea out there - fully expecting that they would not be interested in a request like mine.

Basically, I explained, that I have a child who is special needs and very tiny - even though she is 26, she is 4'5" and has multiple challenges in terms of finding appropriate clothing that fits well, is comfortable and is easy for her to put on and take off by herself.  Years ago, I found a very pretty simple dress that looked great on her and was perfect for all occasions.  I bought two, not knowing at the time how much we would rely on that dress.  I should have bought 25!  They were made of a very sweet Liberty of London print and were her absolute favorite - and mine, too!  The dresses had been washed about 5,000 times each and I was dreading the day when they simply fell apart. I asked Lux Tailor if they might be able to replicate the dress if I were to find some fabric.  I did not expect them to be interested, but when they met my little girl, they were so happy to help!  They could not have been kinder to us, and she felt very special going in for her fitting appointments.  They duplicated the dress exactly and we could not be happier with all our new dresses.  My daughter wore them each and every day last Summer and will do the same for Summers to come. The amount of work they have processed for me without delay and with pure perfection is amazing .
